on our way home from Karatsu we decided to follow one last sign directing us to a point of interest. This one was only a couple of kilometers from the highway, so we pulled off and followed the signs pointing to "Stone Buddha carvings." after a walk down a few stairs we were alone in a kind of stone enclave shrine area... what a pleasant surprise!
