On the 31st of July, we had our first visitor! My cousin, Forrest, who is from SF, was able to stop over for 2 nights in Kyushu. He is a structural engineer and is doing some volunteer work for this non profit org called Build Change. He was on his way to the Banda Aceh region on Indonesia to assist in building new homes for the tsunami victims.
It was so nice to spend a day and a half together, showing him around Saga and also taking a day trip to Nagasaki. The following posts are from his visit...
