Yesterday morning, before work, we decided to head up to Ogi Town, a small town 15 minutes West of Saga. Ben had gone by himself a day earlier while I was at work and discovered Kiyumizu Falls... it was a beautiful morning...

this one is of a Kaki (Persimmon) Tree. Kaki season is in full force here. The trees look as though they're dead or dying, with practically no green color or any leaves. Just bright orange fruits hanging all over them. Suki des (I like them)- they're delish.

It's also Mikan season! They are great too- super sweet with no seeds. These big bags were only 100 yen each and we paid for ours by dropping a coin into the can pictured.

this is one of Kiyumizu falls. It wasn't the most powerful waterfall, but it must have been 100 feet high!

One of the draws of this little town is the special food. Here, they can slice up a fresh Koi (Carp) into sashimi for you. There were a few of these little ponds around the town! We passed on that...

Here I am enjoying the spray from the falls...
