driving towards the coast...

We took the car out for a drive towards Karatsu, the ocean North of Saga... we stopped at so many places along the way that we decided not even to go all the way to the beach :)

next stop, Sari. This area had a huge field of Cosmos, or in Japanese, "Kosumos." We just caught them as they were beginning to get dried out at the end of the season.

My mom taught us how to ask people if it's possible for us to take a snapshot of them... I practiced on this little girl's mother *Shashin wo totte mo ii desu ka?* She was a cutie...
Next stop, Kitahama Village, stone Buddha carvings. I didn't get many shots of Buddhas this time around, but here's one of me+ mom.
