the subway... on our way to Tenjin, the great shopping area in Fukuoka. After the New Year, there are huge sales happening (or in Japanese English "Price Down") so I was looking around with Ben's birthday present in mind.

I considered buying this stylish ensemble for Ben, but couldn't find his size... what a shame.
After a day of shopping around, we stopped into Bic Camera, a colossal Electronics store, and used my point card to get a nice "price down" on a new iPod shuffle. It's Ben's first mp3 player! Here he is inside one of our favorites "Mr. Donut" opening it up...
