Ben's predecessor Biz, and her husband Mike were nice enough to drive us around to some local shops, which are not really within walking or biking distance from Kiire. We were able to get a new cover for our sofa and a nice, modern looking computer speaker for our apartment. We also went for Kaiten sushi (revolving sushi.)

fun times. Lots of vegetarian options here too, we ate ume-shiso maki, cucumber maki, egg maki, mushroom tempura, and all you can drink green tea!
Sakurajima!Later in the evening, our friend Kuni (the older lady who is like a mother to all the foreigners who live in Kiire) threw Biz and Mike a going away party/welcome party for us. Complete with sushi making! Plus, they made a whole table full of vegetarian food for us!
