I love this picture! Ben just got a 35mm roll developed, so I can't take credit for this one... Saga's got tons of rice fields that we've been watching over the past few months and wondering exactly *how does rice grow?* Harvest has begun in the few weeks or so, and it's pretty obvious now where all the rice comes from.
this is back in August before the rice had sprouted. The fields were pretty much just long green grasses...
About a month later: looks ready for harvest!?
These were taken around the end of September... the fields all turned yellow and we could finally see the rice!!
After the harvest, the fields are trimmed and cleaned up...
Looking pretty destroyed...
Finally, they're burned!
