it's been a while...

hello! I know it's been quite some time since I've added any pics... The following are some relatively new ones. Actually this day trip was on Sept. 10th- already a month ago... time flies. We took about a half an hour drive south of Saga-shi to Kashima. We had heard there was a nice shrine called Yutoku Inari that would be worth checking out. It just so happened, the day that we chose to go, there was a big beginning of fall festival. Lots of traditional dances, and Taiko drumming perfomances...
